It's been a while and I've done a handful of system upgrades but nothing majorly new.
Couple highlights:
- Now showing a members "Mitosis Points" below their profile pic. Right now you can only "purchase" "Mitosis Level Upgrades" with them but we may offer more items later.
- Mitosis is now Invite Only! We were getting 5 Chinese signups a day that would post nothing but spam so I turned off open registration. Soon, I'll setup the invite system so that current members can send invites to their friends. Hopefully this helps curb the spam.
On a side note, we're at 100 members but I've got the old Mitosis member list (roughly 20,000 members). I've been holding off sending out announcements and invites to them all until this new website is just right.
The problem comes down to the "groups" pages. The behavior I expect is that when you join one, you would see the posts to that group in your activity feed. This isn't so and creates a giant disconnect. I'm working on a fix but it's tricky stuff. Once it's done, I'll send out an email to all the past members to join.
