Hey everybody!

It's been a while but it's great to be posting to Mitosis again!  I'm looking forward to catching up with previous Mitosis members (aka, old-timers) and to welcome in a whole new generation of friends to this weird little world.

Now, before nostalgia sets in, I want to talk about what needs to be done in order to go live to the public.  Specifically rules, regulations and direction of Mitosis as a whole.  This new Mitosis has social networking elements but we are NOT facebook or myspace and this will be reflected in our "founding documents".

We need a Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and a Mission Statement for Mitosis. I've got rough drafts of all three but they need work and I'd really like some input from others before they're finalized. I'm extending an invitation to join the Mitosis Governance group to all who are willing to contribute ideas, constructive criticism and/or inspiration to the cause. It's not glamorous but getting these documents in place for all to see will serve as a basis for what the Mitosis community stands for.
